Chinese Cuisine in Ho Chi Minh City

Chinese food in Ho Chi Minh City concentrates in two very different places. Chợ Lớn, spanning District 5 and District 6, is where Cantonese and Teochew families have cooked for generations — roast meats, dim sum, hủ tiếu. Phú Mỹ Hưng in District 7 is newer, built around a Taiwanese and mainland community, and leans toward Sichuan hotpot and northern noodles. District 1 covers the upscale end: hotel dim sum and Cantonese dining rooms. This section maps the city's Chinese restaurants by district. Each entry lists location, hours, and what the kitchen specialises in.
