Highlands Central Post Office

Highlands Central Post Office is a flagship café on Công xã Paris, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The branch occupies space on the grounds of the historic Saigon Central Post Office. The entrance faces the square across from Notre-Dame Cathedral of Saigon. Highlands Coffee opened this flagship outlet in December 2023.

The venue spans two indoor floors alongside an outdoor courtyard patio. The ground level contains a dedicated specialty coffee counter and ordering stations. The upper level provides seating and houses a specialty tea preparation area. Large glass windows provide direct views of the adjacent Nguyễn Văn Bình Book Street. The interior features modern Vietnamese wooden accents, decorative tile work, and ambient warm lighting.

The beverage bar prepares traditional Vietnamese drip coffee using local robusta beans. Signature drinks include iced milk coffee, coconut freeze, and the Phin Freeze series. The menu features specialty teas like golden lotus seed tea and peach lemongrass tea. The kitchen also prepares fresh bánh mì sandwiches with roasted pork or meatballs. The bakery display holds sweet items, including tiramisu, matcha cake, and passion fruit mousse.

David Thai founded the parent brand in 1999 as a packaged coffee business. The company expanded across Vietnam to become one of the country’s largest café chains. This specific outlet acts as a fifth-generation concept store for the brand. Patrons include domestic office workers, local students, and international tourists visiting the district. The store operates on a counter-order system from morning until late night daily.
