RAW + Atelier

RAW + Atelier is a cocktail bar and cafe on Lý Tự Trọng in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The venue occupies multiple upper levels of a heritage townhouse near Bến Thành Market. Mixologist Jimmy Nguyen established the concept in mid-2025. The interior follows a minimalist wabi-sabi aesthetic with raw textures and muted tones. Bare stone slabs, dark wood fixtures, and soft amber lighting define the space.

The venue splits its operations between daylight hours and late evening. On the second floor, RAW functions as a quiet coffee bar throughout the day. Baristas pull espresso drinks, prepare drip coffee, and whisk Japanese ceremonial matcha. The kitchen also turns out light midday bites and plated savory snacks.

At dusk, the third floor transforms into the Atelier cocktail room. Bartenders shake signature drinks highlighting seasonal fruits and local botanicals. The venue accompanies craft cocktails with custom flavored salts on each glass rim. Guests inspect ingredient cards inside small ceramic pots to select their beverages. Each printed card reveals the flavor components and aromatic notes of the drink.

A secluded back salon bears the name Room No. 5. This private space pours rare whiskies and timeless classics like the Manhattan. Tatler Vietnam recognized the venue on its best new bars list in 2026. The establishment sits a short stroll from the Reunification Palace and Tao Đàn Park.
