Open in Google MapsPasteur Street Craft Beer Bùi Viện is a craft beer taproom on Đề Thám, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The venue sits at the intersection of Bùi Viện Walking Street. John Reid and Alex Violette founded Pasteur Street Brewing Company in 2014. The company opened its first taproom on Pasteur Street in early 2015. This Bùi Viện branch opened in 2025 as the company’s tenth anniversary location.
The bar maintains eighteen taps pouring house beers alongside seasonal rotations. Brewers incorporate Vietnamese fruits, herbs, and spices into American brewing styles. Signature drafts include Jasmine IPA, Passion Fruit Wheat Ale, and Pomelo IPA. The taps also pour Cyclo Imperial Chocolate Stout, incorporating artisan Marou cacao nibs. Guests select tasting flights to sample multiple beer styles in smaller pours.
A kitchen prepares American pub food with Vietnamese elements throughout operating hours. The food menu features smash burgers, spicy chicken wings, and barbecue pork sliders. Cooks also prepare loaded fries, grilled sausages, and spiced snack platters. The taproom provides non-alcoholic drinks, ciders, and sodas alongside beer.
The two-level venue accommodates up to one hundred twenty guests. The ground floor offers open-air seating facing the bustling foot traffic of Bùi Viện. An upper floor provides indoor air-conditioned tables with views over the street corner. The venue pairs wooden tables and industrial metal fixtures with warm yellow lighting. It operates daily from morning until late midnight.
