Open in Google MapsCộng Coffee is a Vietnamese café on Hai Bà Trưng in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The shop stands directly opposite the pink Tân Định Church. It occupies a three-story shophouse along the busy thoroughfare. The location sits near the border between District 1 and District 3. Large upper-floor windows provide clear sightlines of the church tower and street traffic below.
The café specializes in Vietnamese robusta coffee drinks and blended iced beverages. Its signature creation combines drip-brewed coffee with frozen coconut milk slush. The baristas also brew traditional black phin coffee, condensed-milk bạc xỉu, and iced fruit teas. A small food selection includes roasted sunflower seeds, dried beef, and croissants. Customers order at the ground-floor counter before finding a table upstairs.
The interior follows a retro aesthetic inspired by Vietnam during the twentieth-century subsidy period. Olive-green walls, vintage typography, and rustic wooden fixtures fill each floor. Floral cushion fabrics cover low wooden armchairs and stools along the walls. Old hardcover books and metal lamps line the shelves across the seating areas. Staff members wear dark olive uniforms matching the room design.
Founder Linh Dung opened the first Cộng branch on Triệu Việt Vương in Hanoi in 2007. The business grew into a nationwide chain and established branches abroad. This District 1 outpost features air-conditioned indoor rooms alongside a narrow top-floor viewing balcony. It operates daily from morning until late evening.
