MonoBooth

MonoBooth is a self-service photo studio on Tôn Thất Thiệp in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, that produces vintage-style photo strips. The studio occupies a second-floor unit inside the 42 Tôn Thất Thiệp apartment building. This residential apartment block houses independent streetwear boutiques, art shops, and specialty cafes. The building stands a short walk away from the Saigon Centre shopping mall.

The brand launched operations in Ho Chi Minh City in 2017. Automated photographic booths provide private spaces for self-directed portrait shoots. Visitors select photo layouts directly on the touchscreen interface inside the booth. The booth software counts down before each automated shutter release. Each machine prints four-frame photo strips on thick photographic paper. Customers choose between classic monochrome filtering and warm vintage color palettes. The printers stamp custom graphic borders and themed illustrations onto each strip.

A dressing area stocks shared costume props for creative styling. Available accessories include Viking helmets, cowboy hats, quirky sunglasses, and decorative crowns. Full-length wall mirrors line the waiting area for grooming before each session. The interior features vintage decor accents, dark curtains, and checkered flooring.

The digital terminal generates QR codes for immediate smartphone photo downloads. These digital files include both high-resolution images and short video recordings. A counter near the exit provides transparent plastic sleeves to protect fresh photo strips. The studio operates on a direct walk-in basis throughout the day. The counter accepts cash payments as well as domestic digital bank transfers.
