SÂM Saigon

SÂM Saigon is a cocktail bar and Chinese dining concept on Trần Nhật Duật, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The establishment draws creative inspiration from the culinary traditions of Saigon’s historic Chợ Lớn quarter. The founders of Michelin-selected restaurants Nôm Dining and Oryz Saigon established this two-level concept. The venue arranges its dining room and cocktail lounge across two separate floors.

The upper level operates as a dedicated herbal bar and cocktail lounge. Bartenders infuse spirits with traditional medicinal botanicals, fermented broths, and Chinese teas. Signature cocktails feature ingredients such as black garlic, osmanthus flowers, kombu seaweed, and patchouli. The bar program also crafts house mocktails with corn silk, perilla leaf, and sparkling tea ferments.

The kitchen prepares a focused menu of comforting Cantonese and Teochew specialties. Cooks simmer savory claypot dishes and steam fresh Teochew-style fish with herbs. The kitchen also crafts handmade dim sum baskets with specialized dipping sauces. Guests pair these savory plates with herbal drinks throughout the evening.

The interior features rich wood paneling, warm ambient lights, and modern Asian architectural details. A sleek wooden counter anchors the bar room, seating guests directly in front of the bartenders. The venue occupies a quiet stretch of street within the Tân Định neighborhood of District 1. Operating hours run six nights a week, with service closing late each evening.
