Li Bai is an authentic Cantonese restaurant on Đồng Khởi Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The restaurant occupies the second floor of the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel. It serves traditional Cantonese cuisine, including a wide selection of dim sum. The restaurant opened in 2003 and underwent a full renovation in 2024.

The menu features classic dishes alongside modern interpretations. Signature items include the 10-day dry-aged Mekong Delta duck, prepared Peking style. Other specialties are Otoro Char Siu pork and A4 Wagyu Char Siu beef short rib. The kitchen also prepares a variety of fresh seafood, soups, and BBQ items. A weekend Yum Cha service offers an expansive dim sum selection.

The restaurant’s design draws inspiration from the Tang dynasty poet Li Bai. The decor blends contemporary aesthetics with traditional Chinese elements. Artworks depict landscapes and motifs from the poet’s life and verses. The dining area includes semi-private sections and private rooms for groups. The culinary team is led by chef Thi Giang and sous chef Diep Nhieu.

Li Bai sources many of its ingredients from local farms. The restaurant provides fine-dining service in a formal setting. It caters to both small and large parties, with tables for intimate dinners or family gatherings. The space accommodates up to 104 guests. The restaurant is named after one of China’s most celebrated poets.
