Landmark 81 Skydeck

📍 720A Điện Biên Phủ, Phường 22, Bình Thạnh, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam

Overview

Landmark 81 Skydeck is a public observation deck on Điện Biên Phủ Street in Bình Thạnh District, Ho Chi Minh City. The attraction, officially named Landmark 81 SkyView, occupies the top three floors of Vietnam’s tallest skyscraper. It provides 360-degree panoramic views of the city and the Saigon River. The building’s design draws inspiration from the traditional Vietnamese bamboo bundle, a symbol of strength and unity.

The observation area spans from the 79th to the 81st floor. A high-speed elevator transports visitors from the basement level to the 79th floor. This level features a coffee lounge and seating areas for viewing the cityscape. The 80th floor offers an interactive virtual reality game called “Top of Vietnam,” which simulates a parachute jump from the building’s peak. The experience uses advanced technology to create a realistic descent over the city.

The highest level is the 81st floor, which sits at a height of 382.65 meters. This floor features SkyTouch, an open-air terrace that allows visitors to be outside. A glass bridge also extends from this level, providing a direct downward view. The entrance and ticket counter for the Skydeck are in the B1 level of the Vincom Center mall, which forms the base of the tower. The skyscraper itself is a mixed-use building containing a hotel, residential apartments, and retail space.

The Landmark 81 tower stands within the Vinhomes Central Park complex, a modern urban development area. The building is a prominent feature of the Ho Chi Minh City skyline. Its location in Bình Thạnh District is near the Saigon Bridge. The observation deck opened to the public on April 28, 2019. It ranks as the highest observation deck in Vietnam.
