Emart Supermarket Sala

Emart Supermarket Sala is a South Korean hypermarket on Mai Chí Thọ Street, Thủ Đức City, Ho Chi Minh City, that operates in the Thiso Mall. The supermarket occupies the basement level B1 of the shopping center. It first opened to customers on November 3, 2022. The total area covers more than 6,000 square meters, with over 4,000 square meters dedicated to the retail sales floor. The store’s interior design has modern, Korean-style elements.

The supermarket stocks a wide variety of products from both domestic and international brands. It sells fresh produce, meats, seafood, and packaged groceries. A significant portion of its inventory consists of goods imported from Korea. The store features a large, dedicated section for its private-label “No Brand” line of products. This line includes items from frozen foods to confectionery. Separate display areas showcase specific categories like wine and liquor.

Beyond retail goods, Emart Sala contains a food court offering prepared meals and dining. The supermarket has an in-house bakery that produces fresh bread and pastries. Several food and beverage chains also operate within the B1 level, adjacent to the supermarket. This model allows for both grocery shopping and casual dining within the same space. The supermarket provides modern, automated lockers for shoppers to store their belongings.

Emart Sala was the second Emart hypermarket to open in Vietnam. The brand is operated in Vietnam by THISO Retail, part of the THACO Group, through a franchise agreement with the South Korean parent company. The location is part of the Sala City urban area. The facility provides extensive parking capacity for both motorbikes and automobiles.
