CHILLALA – House of Art

CHILLALA – House of Art is a contemporary art gallery on Xuân Thủy, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. The venue occupies a multi-story building in the center of the Thảo Điền neighborhood. It integrates rotating art exhibitions with private event hosting and hospitality services. The gallery showcases works by emerging and established contemporary Vietnamese and international artists.

Exhibition programs include solo retrospectives, group showcases, contemporary sculpture, photography, and mixed-media installations. Guest curators organize themed shows such as Arte Fare and The Sediment of Light throughout the year. The venue presents collections from artists such as Hoàng Nam Việt, Trần Trung Lĩnh, and Noah Bùi. Each exhibition runs for several weeks and provides free admission to the general public.

The building features modern white-walled display rooms with specialized architectural lighting for visual artwork. High ceilings and open gallery halls accommodate large-scale canvas paintings and dimensional sculptures. The property includes a dining gallery, an espresso bar, and a dedicated wine lounge for visitors. Hospitality staff serve coffee, artisanal tea, light fare, and selected wines during exhibition hours.

The venue hosts cultural events, artist talks, private viewings, and live acoustic music sessions. Collectors, curators, art students, and neighborhood residents frequent the gallery during daytime and evening exhibitions. The space stands within walking distance of numerous cafes, restaurants, and design studios along Xuân Thủy. The gallery operates seven days a week from morning until evening.
